Day 341: Mmm, a more good than bad impulse jersey purchase. Woo! Streit!
Also, the first captain, and double up of numbers for me.
And of course, my timing couldn’t have been better: http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=673710&print=true

Day 282-283: So I bought myself a reward for landing a pair of internships in my new field. Exciting. I picked this jersey because it’s being retired, and Talbot as he’s a playoff hero.

Day 276: Went down with a bunch of people for a tour of Corus. Got to meet and see Andy Frost record some spots, which was neat.

Day 263-265: Okay, so I haven’t been posting as much, but I have been taking pics. Let’s try not to get too far off now. Life’s been busy, what can I say?
So pick up hockey wound down over the past few weeks, sad to see it go. I didn’t play a lot in the new year, with new obligations keeping me from staying out late on weekdays.
Last time splitting up the sticks for this season.

Lone goal as we closed up shop

Day 243-244: The next things to read. Still playing around with the camera on my phone, unfortunately light reflected and killed the V in the “Leave” in the title.
"Leave No Doubt: A Credo for Chasing Your Dreams" by Mike Babcock, who is head coach of the Detroit Red Wings, was also coach of the 2010 Winter Olympic Gold Medal winning Team Canada, and 2 time Stanley Cup champion.
And below is a bio of John Lennon, one of the people that inspire me, which I received as a gift =)

Day 208-211: So this is a big Leafs fansy post.
First above is a Leafs card signed twice by Johnny Bower. This is due to Staples not having any silver sharpies available when I was heading down, and ending up getting signed initially in the black at the bottom. However, both Johnny Bower and I were kind eh about how it looked, and he signed it again over the Leaf, for which he noted this was unique for having 2 signatures =)
So I also got this Wendel Clark card auto’d too =)

And Gary Leeman’s card auto’d too =)

And lastly, I picked up this jersey on a whim. Decided it’d be nice to have a rare jersey of sorts, and I didn’t have a TML shoulder patch jersey. Brian Leetch only played 15 games for the Leafs in his Hall of Fame career, but did pretty well with 2G and 13A in 15 regular season games, and an additional 8A in 13 playoff games.

Day 207: Went to the Hockey Hall of Fame game, which was neat. It was much more of a variety show than a pure game, including penalty shots, a little kids game, t-shirt/hat giveaways for every goal, and even a song sung live by Trottier!
